Founded in 1975 the museum has many pieces of art, portraits, military pieces and has been supported as a non profit for years by Poles around the world. The collection of Polish history and art was especially important to exhibit outside of Poland before Communism fell. The Poles in the Seattle area supported fundraising , much was organized by Jadwiga Golubiec in the 80s and 90s.
