The evening began with a cocktail hour and members and diginitaries meeting in the lower hall. Then speeches by Lidka Jasklowski the 100th Gala organizer, Pawel Krupa the PHA President and Teresa Indelak-Davis the Polish Honorary Consul, Mr Dembowski King County Council member and city and state proclamations were read. Vivat Musika and Mlodzie Polanie performed and dinner was served of Polish food and soup. Japanese Honorary Consul Mr. Yamada gave a moving speech some in Polish about the Siberian orphans and Japans role in saving them after the war. Martha Golubiec spoke about the project and its details as well. Past PHA Presidents made comments and thanked the guests and organizers as desert was served. A short clip of the PHA history was shown as the evening came to a close.
