Category: 2020 State of Washington Resolution On Poland and Poles
On February 27, 2020, the Washington State Senate adopted a resolution commemorating one hundred years of diplomatic relations between Poland and the United States and recognizing the strong Polish-American community in the State of Washington. Representatives of local Polish-American organizations, Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles, Jarosław Łasiński and Honorary Consul of Poland in Seattle, Teresa Indelak Davis were in attendance at the State Capitol for the bill’s adoption.
The Resolution submitted by State Senator Jamie Pedersen and co-sponsored by many other senators recognizes the Polish-American community in the State of Washington for their work to preserve Polish culture and heritage and their contribution to the local society.
